AI marketing consultant in Bristol.

I run hands-on AI marketing training, workshops and coaching for marketing leaders in Bristol, in your office, using your own campaigns and briefs rather than a generic curriculum. Sessions run from a focused hour to a full day.

I live and work in Bristol. That is the whole of the local pitch, and it matters more than it sounds.

Why it matters that I am here

In person changes what a session can be.

Most AI training is delivered remotely, to a grid of faces, with cameras off by the second hour. It is cheaper to run and easier to sell, and it is why so little of it survives contact with the actual job.

Sitting in a room with your team changes the format. I can look at the brief on your screen, see where the process actually breaks, and fix it while everyone watches. Nobody is quietly doing email.

Being based in Bristol is what makes that practical. A half-day in your office is a short trip for me rather than a day of travel and expenses added to your invoice. For a London consultancy, the same session has to be priced as a full day out.

What we do

Your work, not a curriculum.

We start from what your team actually produces: campaign plans, reporting, emails, landing pages. Then we move you up a level, from using AI as a chatbot to delegating real work to it, with your judgement as the quality gate.

It runs one-to-one or as a small team. Before we start, a short questionnaire tells me where you are, so the session meets you at the right level.

Consultant, coach or trainer?

People look for an AI marketing consultant, an AI marketing coach, AI marketing training, or an AI marketing expert in Bristol, and usually mean roughly the same thing. Here is the honest mapping.

Coaching is one to one. It suits a marketing leader who wants to get fluent themselves before asking a team to change how it works. We meet regularly, use your real workload, and you direct the sessions.

Training is the team in a room. Hands-on, in your Bristol office, working through your own campaigns rather than a slide deck. Most teams start here.

Consulting is the system rather than the skills. Where AI fits in your marketing operation, what to adopt, what to ignore, and how to tell the difference in six months.

On expert, I would rather show you the work than claim the title. Twenty years in-house building marketing functions, and a set of systems I have actually shipped. Judge it on those.

Who you would be working with

A marketer, not an AI engineer.

I am Andy Mills. Twenty years in B2B marketing, almost all of it in-house rather than agency side, building marketing functions from nothing more than once.

I lived through the print-to-digital shift early in my career and watched teams resist it, then scramble. This one is the same pattern, faster.

Questions

Common questions.

Do you come to our office?

Yes. I am based in Bristol, so an in-person session anywhere in the city is a short trip rather than a day of travel billed back to you. We can run a focused hour or a full day in your office, using your own work.

Do you only work with Bristol companies?

No. Bristol is home and where in-person is easiest, and I also run sessions in person in Bath and London and remotely for teams anywhere in the UK. If you are in Bristol, in person is usually the better option, and it costs you nothing extra.

Do you do one-to-one coaching as well as team training?

Yes, both. Coaching is one to one, for a marketing leader who wants to get fluent before asking a team to change how it works. Training is the team together, hands-on in your Bristol office, using your own campaigns. Most teams start with training, and some leaders do a few coaching sessions first.

Are you an agency?

No. Twenty years of my career were spent in-house, client side, building marketing functions rather than selling to them. You get the person who does the work, not an account manager and a team you never meet.

What clients say

I came into this overwhelmed. I knew AI mattered, but I didn't have the time to work it out on my own. I needed someone to guide me.

The workshop with Andy was practical and hands-on. We worked on my actual projects rather than sitting through a lecture. I came away with things I can use, not a list of tools to go and investigate.

I now feel confident and able to maximise Claude.
