Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

This policy covers goodvibemarketer.com. It explains what personal data the site collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do about it.

The site is run by Mills Media Group Limited (trading as GoodVibeMarketer), a company registered in England and Wales under number 15996552 and working out of Bristol, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law the company is the data controller. You can reach us at andy@goodvibemarketer.com.

Registered office: 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR. VAT registration number GB484 7021 81.

The short version

There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party tracking tag, and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The analytics are first-party, store no identifier of any kind, and stand down entirely if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. The only personal data we hold is what you typed into a form, or emailed us, and chose to send.

What the site collects

Emailing us

The contact page offers a booking link and an email address rather than a form, so anything you send us arrives as an ordinary email. We hold your address and whatever you wrote, in the mailbox it arrived in. Nothing you send us is written to a database on this site.

The newsletter

Signing up collects your email address and nothing else. Which page you signed up from, the site that referred you and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on are counted separately, as the analytics events described below, and are never attached to your address.

The list itself lives with Substack, the platform that sends the emails, and is covered by their privacy policy. On most of the site you subscribe through Substack's own embedded form, so your address goes to them directly and this site never sees it.

On the Claude Skill pages the form is ours, and there your address is recorded by this site first. That is deliberate: Substack publishes no supported way for another site to add a subscriber, and blocks the attempt, so holding the address is the only way a signup is not simply lost. It is then carried over to Substack by hand, usually within a few days.

What is kept is the address, which Skill you asked for, when you signed up, and whether you have been carried over yet. There is no IP address, no device information and no campaign data in that record, and it is deliberately held apart from the analytics described below so the two cannot be joined up.

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. Ask and the copy held here is deleted too.

Analytics

The site measures its own traffic rather than handing that job to a third party. The measurement is deliberately built so that it cannot identify anyone. It does not set a cookie, does not write to local or session storage, does not generate a visitor ID, and does not read anything that could act as a fingerprint. There is no way to join one event to the next, or one visit to the next.

What is recorded for each event:

  • the event — a page view, a click on a call to action, a section coming into view, or a newsletter signup
  • the path of the page, with the query string and fragment stripped before storage
  • a short label saying which button or section it was
  • the hostname of an external referrer, or the path if you came from elsewhere on this site
  • campaign parameters from the link, where present
  • a country code from the Cloudflare edge — country level only, never finer
  • whether the device is mobile or desktop

No IP address, user-agent string or visitor identifier is stored. Events are held in a Cloudflare D1 database in aggregate. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the script does not run at all — we honour those signals whether or not the law requires it.

Booking a call

Discovery calls are booked through Calendly. Opening the booking widget loads it from Calendly's servers, and anything you enter into it — your name, email and chosen time — is handled by Calendly under their own privacy policy and may involve cookies they set. We receive the booking details.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes requests to the site and keeps its own operational and security logs, which include IP addresses. That is Cloudflare's processing, under their terms, and we do not build a separate log of our own.

Why we are allowed to hold it

DataLawful basis
Emails you send us Legitimate interests — answering someone who has deliberately written to us — and, where the enquiry is about working together, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Newsletter subscription Consent. You gave it by signing up, and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
Analytics events Legitimate interests — understanding which writing is read — balanced by the fact that the data identifies nobody.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It reaches these companies only because they run part of the site:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and the analytics database.
  • Substack — newsletter list storage and delivery.
  • Calendly — call bookings, if you make one.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens they operate under the safeguards their own terms set out for international transfers.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to.

How long it is kept

  • Emails you send us — kept while your enquiry is live and for as long as the correspondence is useful. Ask us to delete it and we will.
  • Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe. The copy of your address held by this site for the Claude Skill forms is kept while you are on the list, and deleted on request.
  • Analytics events — kept indefinitely, because they contain no personal data to expire.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Nothing here needs one: the analytics work without them, and the pages are static. If you open the Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set cookies of its own at that point.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • correct it if it is wrong
  • delete it
  • restrict or stop processing it
  • hand it over in a portable format
  • stop sending you email — the unsubscribe link does this instantly, but you can also just ask

Email andy@goodvibemarketer.com and we will deal with it within a month. There is no charge.

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is for marketing professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no separate notification, so check back here if it matters to you.
